Kate Brownbill is a London based photographer whose work explores themes of identity within family relationships, drawing primarily from her personal experiences. Her research explores the societal positioning of women and mothers, examining the expectations and narratives that shape their experiences.

Her work was featured in the charity Suicide & Co 2024 ‘Always in Company’ campaign and featured on billboards throughout the UK.

Her image “Game Face” was a finalist in 2024’s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize and was displayed in the exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.

Kate holds a BA in English Literature and a MA in Art History, both from Sussex University.
